Buying a pair of shoes online should not require hours of second-guessing. Our job is to do that work for you: narrow a crowded category down to the standouts, explain the trade-offs in plain language, and help you buy the right pair the first time.

How we stay independent

Our recommendations are made by our editorial team alone. Brands cannot pay to be featured, to earn a higher Shoes Score, or to change a verdict.
